Tyler Koser began his career working in both golf course maintenance and golf operations at his local neighborhood golf course in Delmont, PA while attending Franklin Regional High School. From there he went to study Turfgrass Science & Golf Course Management at Horry Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach, SC, and then at the Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA. Tyler interned at Oakmont C.C. in Oakmont, PA prior to, and during the 1994 Menís U.S. Open. Following that Tyler moved to Arizona to begin working for Troon Golf at the Troon North G.C. here in Scottsdale in 1995. That led to a superintendentís role on the Pinnacle golf course at Troon North, followed by Directory of Agronomy roles at The Tonto Verde G.C in Rio Verde, AZ, The Club at Seven Canyons in Sedona, AZ, The Golf Club at Lansdowne in Ashburn, VA, and here at Terravita in 2014. Tyler was recently promoted to the golf clubs General Manager in 2018 where he currently oversees golf operations and agronomy.
